This whole 45 has a raw DIY approach. From the handwritten labels to the way it was recorded. Not too many artists are open to releasing their live or rehearsal recordings for sale. In this game, that usually doesn't happen until a nutty collector happens to stumble on an old reel from the 60's long after dreams of show biz stardom; or on a mysterious bootleg which somehow made its way on YouTube, a Rare Oldies CD or a questionable 45.

Recorded live with a handheld cassette recorder at the @lowridersundays online radio show with @moniloca in San Diego, Califas at the Centro Cultural de La Raza, the A-Side cover of "That's The Way It Goes" by the Harptones gives the rola a raw lo-fi ambience with a natural room reverb many of us record collectors are psycho for! Oh and the harmonies are killer!

The B-side is another take of Ben Pirani's hit, "Dreamin's For Free" and once again recorded on a handheld cassette recorder in Brooklyn after coming home after their Cali tour. A def must in your platter box, and should be considered a historical document to the current Movida!
